@Michael Hewett ,..still catching up on my absence period,..beautiful images to see,..delighted you didn't need dental treatment,..i love visiting those old churches,..very peaceful places,..your parks are well worth viewing and the information you provide is a credit to you,..thanks for uploading.

I had occasion to go to Swansea (I went on the bus - I don't 'do' city driving any more)
After my appointment I went for a walk, and here are some photos of the marina :-

I'm not a townie, I was glad to get home.

No I'm not sure if I could cope with city living all the time, but I do feel I need little top ups of it to make me feel energised.

I only went because I'd arranged to visit the archives, and I went for a walk and coffee afterwards.

 

I went for a walk this afternoon ... fed up with being a prisoner in my own house because of the icy weather, so I defied it and went anyway ! The roads are dry so there was no risk of skidding on any ice.
I went to a local town about 3 miles from my village, and there's a pleasant walk along the riverside ...













It all looks very bleak but the gorse is full of flowers ...



It was so cold, and I went for a nice coffee before going home

I haven't put anything on here for a long time because I haven't been anywhere of note.
Yesterday however I decided to go for a little drive up the road to see what wild flowers I could find.
(they're on the wildflower thread)

And about 5 miles from my village is Carreg Cenen Castle, which I think is creepy so I usually drive past it, but yesterday I took a few photos from different viewpoints
