Very nice Christmas decorations everyone! :) Another year we aren't bothering! We used to put up lots but the last few years we just can't be bothered! It's just too much work & then there's only the 2 of us to look at our work!

Our daughter has taken taken over from us! As we took over from our parents! We normally go to her house for Christmas dinner & to see our 3 gkids unwrap their presents.

20221210_221743.jpg Oh go on then... I've only got as far as doing the tree but wet weather forecast again on Monday and Tuesday, so might sling a few garlands and lights around then. The tree is white/iridescent/pale pink and blue this year, despite the appearance in the photo. Will get a daytime photo tomorrow.

That's one word for it  That'll do now, though. It must have killed off a few thousand insects and fungus spores so no objection whatsoever to it warming up by 10° :)

The Tree came out from the garage today and was promptly de- spideryfied (the year I forgot that saw a delightful surge of biodiversity in our living room  ) and then decorated. This year we went for lights, cones and birds only, with some JohnLewis ones but mostly felted specimens we have been making for some months now.

Felting is very addictive, sort of DIY 2000 piece jigsaw job

Some houseplants got in the way so were camouflaged with lights and mini baubles.

The Ivy wreath looks lovely I think, The Child really knows her way with Ivy from the garden and Wilko's plant support ring :)
