    Yay....sunshine and shadows
    Free heat....:love30: :SUNsmile::SUNsmile::SUNsmile:
    :thumbsup::thumbsup:
    no wind at all so the snow of 2 days ago is still on top of the branches. The dashboard temp. on the way into Battle half an hour ago showed 0c so it will only melt where to sun shines,

      It's been atrocious weather our way, we've had two feet of snow. 4C8AFB99-5642-428E-B5B8-B568A57D6082.jpeg

        -1C currently.

        Despite our temps overnight only dropping to - 5 tonight the ' feel like ' temp at 6am tomorrow is -9C.. It didn't even dip that low when we had 3 consecutive nights at -7C last week.

        I have a horrid feeling my Dahlias won't survive this ,especially the babies grown this year.

          Its nearly minus 2 here already.
          I think tonight could be our coldest yet, one forecast said minus 7.
          I hope that is wrong but does it really matter anymore, most stuff that is going to die will be dead by now anyway.
          Just one of those rubbish winters that come along from time to time and make a complete mockery of the so called climate change.

          I'd line all the green party up out there tonight a ask if they really believe in global warming, anyone who said yes would get left out all night.:roflol:

            We did have an unusually hot dry Summer, now unusually a bitter cold Winter, so far:wallbanging:

                Yeah and its still December.
                I've been looking at dips in the jet stream for a while now and I've noticed they seem to get stuck, for a long time, more than a year the Jetstream has been mostly north of us, what is happening now is the jet has moved well south over @Victoria land;) leaving us up here in the cold.

                I hope we dont get stuck in this dip for the next year or so, it wouldn't be good.

                  It's not as simple as everywhere getting warmer, though, is it? Even allowing the ecolos their argument, I'd say it's far more about a cyclical change, perhaps speeded up by human activity but which would happen anyway. Extreme weather events are the result. Taken to it's extreme conclusion (millions of years from now), the Earth will become just another lifeless planet like Mars or Venus. Meanwhile, we have to make the best of it :dunno: Happy gardening :biggrin:

                          It's been another bitterly cold night with temps down to -7C according to different people I've talked to! Officially we have only got down to -4C but tonight we are forecast -5C with a chill feeling of -8C! Glad I'm retired & don't have to go out any more in these sort of temps!!! :)

                          No more snow since Sunday night/Monday morning but some very hard frosts (For us here at least!) but at least we can look forward to Sunday/Monday when the temps are forecast to reach the dizzying heights of 12C!! :dbgrtmb::biggrin::rolleyespink:
