    Morning @Flumpy

Yes there are loads of different strike actions being carried out at the moment, it's all eerily quiet up our lane this week, no post van , although fortunately we had a delivery yesterday but not via Royal Mail, and our neighbours ( who normally have loads of deliveries for their business) have had none.

No doubt we'll get a train at some point ,we have been informed to just get the next one to Waterloo as and when ours gets cancelled....could end up on the midnight Mail Train at this rate!!!
Not reassuring to hear that London buses are holding strike days too this week.!!

And we mustn't even think about dying.......coffin makers are striking too apparently. :yikes:

Bom dia Upsy. I've been watching a lot of wildlife programmes of late and there is one called Animais Bebes ... Baby Animals ... SO cute!

Have a good weekend and don't fret ... or slip on ice.

Sending all some warm Sunshine2.jpeg xx

Woke up to this today, we are meant to get more later but turning into rain not a good combination with -2 tonight.
Be careful Upsydaisy and wrap up warm.

Vicky I’d love to have your weather all year round :imphrt:

Morning Karen. It is nice pretty much year round ... except for the couple of hot months of July and August and we will get cold (for us) January/February/March, but rarely have minus temperatures.

                Good day
It is 32f 0c which again, is very mild for us this time of year!

Sounds like everyone is in good shape today. @Flumpy your picture really shows how nicely your garden laid out. :dbgrtmb: @Upsydaisy I would be very upset with the worry about what train is going to get me where I need to go and when I need to go. I'm an A type and like to have things planned out well in advance and your situation would have me sleepless at night! :fingers crossed: this nonsense ends!

Yes, I too am envious of @Victoria 's weather but no one could convince me to move. I like where I live too and I'd prefer for my family to move all of my stuff. After I'm gone! :heehee:

Today is a mundane day. Just doing laundry and will give the guest bedroom a deep clean in case someone wants to stay over during the holidays. That will be the start of going room by room to go into the New Year with a "fresh" start.

@Michael Hewett I hope you are starting to see some of your condensation issues subside. :fingers crossed:

Cheers all and stay safe and bundled up :coffee:

Oh make no mistake Lori I get/ am well and truly organised!!!! :dbgrtmb:

I have every step we take from when we leave our house to when we knock on our son's door mapped out and logged into my phone. Including alternative routes across London ,all bus no's. and timetables. Actual photo images of all the bus stops, where to catch the buses and were to get off.

I have mapped out our exit route through Waterloo.,and also the route from the final bus stop to our son's place.

Have to say that I'm not normally so ott., but I need to ensure that all goes as smoothly as possible for hub's sake.......and our son's and mine too!!;):roflol:. We do plan on a Happy Christmas after all!!:heehee: :fingers crossed:

                            Good morning everyone.:)

                            Damp but much milder today.
Hoping to dodge the rain and get to check on the plants once again, those overwintering will get an airing maybe too.

Apart from that just tidying around, checking train schedules and keeping an eye on the London buses too and deciding what to pack.
                            :fingers crossed:

                            Have a nice day.

Boma dia tuda! Sun breaking up cloud here and temps should go to 18c with no rain forecast.
Quite a few. My friend I met in college in 1963 now in Tennessee, others in Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina also five lots of great friends in the UK, Bucks (2 lots), London, Kent and Devon.
Upsy, how long does this journey take door to door? Do you have to take a suitcase with handle on wheels (I call them airline suitcases)? I'm keeping everything crossed you get something suitable. xx

Today we are doing a trial run to Loule where I have to go Thursday to get my Biocard ex-Brexit. My appointment is at 11am and appointments are every 10 minutes. Ob the Google map it looks like there is a two-story municipal car park across the street from the Municipal Building.

Other than that, a cosy Sunday at home.
