        Did I miss something?

I've just seen a couple of penalties and the argie goalkeeper throwing the ball away, I'd have sent him off for that.

Was a very poor performance from France until they were awarded a penalty. They had very little possession or attempts at goal for the first 70 minutes, you could not see them getting back into the game. The double substitution was the difference and France gradually started to get back into the game, from the Mbappe penalty, what a game.

I wonder what the 2026 world cup will be like, not keen on that it is being expanded from 32 nations to 48 nations where there are 16 groups of 3 nations.

Qatar 2022 has been one of the safest World Cups ever.

With the lowest ever levels of hooliganism, violence and alcoholism.
It has the least number of arrests and some of the best behaved fans of all time.

Which just goes to show – it was the LGBTQ+ community causing all the trouble.

I think it kind of proves that if the fans are in a country that would probably give them the death penalty or chop their hands off they will be "nice".

Its probably the limiting of alcohol that has made a big difference.
Possibly even a "different" type of football fan turning up.

Perhaps we should do the same with some of the yobs that roam around the town centres in the evening looking for trouble.
