Ahead of Season 3 airing tomorrow in the UK, re-watching final episode of S2 of the quite brilliant, My Brilliant Friend. From the opening strains of Max Richter’s masterful reworking of Vivaldi’s masterpiece on the opening titles, it’s been a class above most other series the past few years, save for Succession maybe, which may have the best lines, but doesn’t have the cinematic storytelling sweep of My Brilliant Friend. Onto the 70s for S3, cue lots of people wearing flares and bad hair probably, all with an Italian flourish of style, of course.

Just found this and watched the first episode of season 1 on iPlayer because season 2 will start next week on BBC 1 in the afternoon but will record it for the evening.
      Called
5 bedrooms. 5 people buy a house together to get on the property ladder.but not involved with each other to live there but got to sort things out between them to make it work.

A tremendous story. I watched both series. I like the knowing looks she makes to camera.

We've liked the Gentleman Jack series based on real diaries. Unlike the over rated Doctor Foster nonsense that Suranne Jones starred in which had such pathetic unlikely story lines! Can't please them all I guess :noidea:

All of Gordon's documentaries are superb. He gets so close with the animals and he himself is very personable.
