A joke or two.... 2022

Believe it or not, I can only drive a stick shift, learnt on a column shift! Both our cars are shifts.

 

Pffffff.....someone not a million miles from here gave his ex-wife a bread bin for her 21st. He still wonders why she left him

 

Was it a nice bread bin?
I mean its the thought that counts.

 

Average...pine....and yes, it was the thought that did for him She ran off with an estate agent that considered diamonds to be a suitable present for one's beloved

Absolutely! There was a lady with her head screwed on . C'mon.....bread bin v diamonds???

 

I have only driven a column shift car once. It seemed to have about 20 gear positions, 15 of these being neutral!

 

The first three cars I drove had column gear changes two 3 speed then a four. Then I graduated to 3 on the floor. I had been driving for years before ever driving 4 on the floor. Now it is all 5 and 6 speed manual transmissions. I still only use 4 of the 5 my car has. 4th is unnecessary.
