Ho, that is one nice device there @Upsydaisy ! I don't seem to be having a problem this year with condensation - so far. But was annoying when it dripped on things. I guess my insulating clear plastic is doing a good job. :noidea:

Yes Lori they are good ,we use ours on the shower door screens. I'm sure they would be good for condensation on windows too. :)

Had to do the much dreaded grocery shop this afternoon.....well and truly back to normal now.

On the plus side I noted a Hellebore bloom..albeit a battered looking specimen, also saw lots more in bud.:)

Sun is up and a fine day is forecast. Currently 12c heading for 18c.

Roosters, where John and J meet on Fridays, about 15 minutes from here, is closed till 7 February. They may find an alternative next week. So a quiet day at home for us both.

              Good day
It is starting to get a bit lighter out there and I can see that the tree tops aren't swaying much. It is 48f 6c! The guessers said to expect precipitation and with these mild temperatures, I certainly won't have to shovel it! :blue thumb:

The electricity rates go down to medium pricing between 11 and 5 today so I may do a bit of baking. Just some bread and rolls and maybe a baguette or two. I want to get ahead of a few day to day things because I have a dozen or so family over for New Year's day and want to only have that prep work for Sunday.

Our recycle pick up will be delayed until tomorrow because of the holidays so I didn't have to scamper out with it this morning. Next week's recycle and rubbish pick up will also be delayed until Saturday. Extra bags of rubbish on the first pick up day after Christmas are free and I plan to start going through closets and tossing things out or if they are in good shape, donating them. Have a good clean out before the new year. And at zero cost.

              Have a lovely day.

              Cheers :coffee:

Well another year is about to end ... and I look forward to a new and better one. I am never awake when the year changes.

Nothing planned for today ... another relaxing one here with mild sunny weather.

Enjoy yours whatever you may be up to.

                      Good day
It is mild again today 47f 7c and the sky is totally cloudy.

I don't party up on New Year's eve, let alone am awake at midnight! I am having the kids/grandkids over for a buffet lunch tomorrow. I've brought up the chafing dishes and will be baking a ham, scalloped potatoes and other things. I nice way to kick start the year.

Other than that, it will be a normal, low time of use electricity cost day. Get the laundry done, get more baking done, really, just get one with things that use a lot of power!

Cheers all :coffee:and Happy New year! :Wino:
