    hey..

    I'm new to gardening and i'm gonna start planting rose first as i love roses a lot..Any tips to plant it? what are the natural fertilizers for it.. i heard that onion peel is good for the growth of roses..is that true?

      Good afternoon @amyjones329 yes onion peel can be good for Roses just as long as you prepare them in the right way:smile:

      Use the outer dry skin of onion or garlic (about a handful) and add it to one litre of water. After 3-4 days, strain the water and dilute this solution with another litre of water. Then, use this solution to water your plants. Onion peel is rich in potassium, calcium and iron, which can help the plants grow strong.;)

        Banana skins are also said to be good for roses. They are rich in potassium, which plants need for flowering. Whenever I eat a banana I put the skin at the base of a rose bush. It can look a bit unsightly at first but it soon rots down.
