Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

It's mild. It's been raining for days but I don't care - it's mild, and that to me is more important.
Anyway I like hearing rain beating on the kitchen roof, I find it comforting

 

Very heavy rain and gales, repeat of yesterday. 10c.

 

Just got home from being out since 8:45 and it's been non-stop rain. It's now easing up a tad now. Last night's strong winds have completely dislodged one of our down pipes, it was found blown across the garden !! Have yet to look in more detail yet.

Our lane is flooded at one end too. The buses/ traffic at the very far end have had to be diverted, our part of the lane is a no through way, but the connecting subway through to the open section is completely under water.

 

Perhaps you should have closed the door.

Rain totals are not high here but its gusty and drizzly mostly.

 

Blowing a gale at present, with severe gales forecast for later this evening.

 

We've had 35 mm + since midnight.

Yep snap the top of our lane is exactly the same. To think we had a drought back in the summer too.
We now have an actual stream running down the side of our section of the lane .

 

It's been bleak here. Drew the curtains this morning (supposedly daylight) and it was almost as dark inside as out. Fog and non stop rain all day with humidity at 98%. In fact humidity has remained high for the last couple of months - hence the fog I suppose. 2C/36F

 

Been a very windy day here as well but no rain, except for a light shower, though it rained during the night as I woke up at 3am and heard the rain beating on our bedroom window! It didn't seem to be very strong but this morning there were puddles in the street.

Lots of wind forecast for tonight with just 7C ALL night long!
