    Good day
    It is mild again! 37f 3c and the guessers promised another gloomy cloudy day. They only get the cloudy predictions wrong when we need water in the summer :doh:

    When I went to fill up the water receptacle in the one cellar tent, I was surprised to find that it was near empty. It holds about 1.5 gallons and I top it up every morning. Something must have had a good long drink yesterday/last night!

    It is going to be a puttering day. I don't much of anything on my to do list. As @Upsydaisy says, there's always housework but during the day, the electric rates are too high to be running the vacuum and besides, I'm not in the mood for it anyway. :redface:

    Have a lovely day all and cheers :coffee:

        Good morning, how's everyone doing?

        We're hopefully in for a good...dare I say it.....dry day today :yes::hapydancsmil:.

        Garden here I come!! :biggrin: :dbgrtmb:

        Lori we get our cheap rate electricity between 10:30pm - 0:00 then slightly reduced until 4:30am when it goes back to full cheap rate until 8am then cheap rate again from 2pm-4pm . I obviously ,like you, take full advantage by planning my housework and laundry chores around these time slots.:dbgrtmb:

        Well this won't do, time to shake my tail feathers and get going....determined to make the most of this good weather today.

        Have a lovely day

          Good morning, had a bad migraine yesterday pm at work, I couldn’t see out of one eye so had to sit upstairs and shut my eyes.

            Morning all. Took hours to get to sleep last night as I had reflux but slept well after.

            Hope your Migraine is gone Karen. I have never even had a headache but J has suffered a few Migraines when he was working.

            I somehow missed all the spamming yesterday although I popped on from time to time. :scratch:

            It is sunny and 10c but breezy going to 17c today.

            Enjoy your gardening Upsy. I think you spend more time than anyone on here out there ... even @shiney!!! :yikes:

            J meeting John for lunch today at a place in the boonies between our two homes (about 10 minutes).

            Have a great Friday the 13th. I miss my black cat Boo (Magic Sam). :cat-kittyandsmiley:

              Morning Vicky.

              I saw it all around midnight wed/ thurs...it went on forever!!

              I'm sure I don't beat shiney!!!....nobody could!! I just can't bear to be stuck indoors especially on good days in Winter as they are a bonus here. I 'm not necessarily working hard ....mostly just puttering around doing anything that needs doing. At the moment though it is a massive tidy up time as things are sprouting all over the place now.:)

              What are the boonies?

              Have a good 13th too.xx

                      Ok just had a Google, I was only 10 when it was released so probably not really into ' pop music' yet.

                      Never heard of him either.:noidea:

                      Probably playing with my Sindy and Tressy dolls ( her hair grew!! :biggrin:) Not sure it I even had any Beatle posters up in our room then.:scratch:

                          I/we (Anne and I shared a room UK and America) were not permitted to have anything on the walls. Don't remember either of us wanted anything. This song was popular two years after I went to America and living on my own. I certainly never put posters on my walls living alone.

                                When I was a teenager I use to go up to London quite a lot with friends at weekends. I went through a phase of collecting.....wait for it........tea towels!!!!
                                Some were of London touristy places and shops..Carnaby St, Biba's etc others were all in psychedelic colours and of the hippy flower power era. Yes you guessed...they adorned my bedroom walls too. I didn't appreciate at the time just how lenient our parents were. Having said that I now recall they were a bit suspicious of my weird smelling joss sticks!!!:roflol:
                                Bless them.:imphrt::imphrt:

                                As you can see I'm back indoors having a cuppa the wind has picked up and it's nippy. I am going back out after we've have an early dinner as hopefully the lovely sunshine will have reached our main garden area by then.

                                My older sister has called to say she's F F....Fuming and Freezing, she's been waiting for the bus to our brother's place and it never turned up ,she went home to wait for the next one.:fingers crossed: Hopefully if that's running she should get there around 12....he'll be in the restaurant by then having his dinner!! She plans on going in and ordering a pot of tea and pulling up a chair to sit next to him as his ' dinner table buddies ' won't make room for her. Fun time to be had.
