          What a night! The sleet arrived ,the only good thing about having all the rain was that it melted on contact. This time tomorrow we'll have an Ice Skating Rink out there as we suppose to be dipping to -7C tonight.

                      Woke up to a fair covering of snow which had frozen solid. Currently clear blue sky and -3C.
                      My good lady had to use a kettle of water to unfreeze the shed padlock and later I had to do the same to get salt out of the garage.
                      Talking about ducks. Yesterday we had a flock of geese fly southwest over our house.
