PassWord Managers Safe ? - Not LastPass !

I have used Lastpass for some years and was aware of the August breach, but the later one; I'm currently having serious thoughts about continuing with it. My bank codes are not on there though.

 

Just a random thought: how many computer orientated forums have a corner dedicated to gardening questions?

 

Think you missed the point, the hack happened last August, but they said it did not affect the customers data, it was not until December when they actually admitted that the August hack did get customers data, deliberately not telling anyone at the time.
Regardless of the admission, how can you trust them now ?

Think its a good thing as we can ask both simple and complicated questions and usually get good clear answers, unlike some of the web computer forums where you need a phd !

Always recommend that Computer Active magazine with is aimed more at the basic user for just £2.80, it also has App tips etc for the Smart phones .

After this thread was created I did some reading around and this seems to summarise the history of events fairly well (at least to Christmas) LastPass Hacked – What Now?

 

Or before my first cuppa in the morning!
