Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

The snow started last night and heavy showers have continued throughout today. I intended to go shopping but for the first time my road is impassable, not being able to get up the hilly bits. 0C/32F

 

Well, after a miserable morning it started to brighten up around 1pm and it had dried up nicely.

Just had a hail shower which has made everything soaking wet again before a forecasted freeze tonight.
Usual combination of soaking wet and frozen.

 

Hands up who is fed up with this weather.

 

The temperature never got above zero today and it is already -2C and dropping.
I took the household rubbish out to the outside bins and the snow which melted with the salt I put down has now frozen again and is a sheet of ice.

 

A clear sky and light winds from the west north west temp -1 feels like -5

 

They are saying we have had a lot of rain up till now this month, I've recorded just below 70mm, but some places not that far away are coming up with 170mm already.

We started the day with quite a bit of cloudiness but by mid-morning the sun started to come out. Then during the afternoon the clouds & the sun seem to play "peek-a-boo" all afternoon till the sun won the contest! Now it's very cold with temps having been below freezing for several hours already! We are forecast a minimum tonight of -5C! Tomorrow we won't get above freezing till around 11am! Even then we can only expect a maximum of about 4C!

 

It's going to be colder this week apparently
It seems I'm going to be grumpy for a while
