Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

From my back French door :-



Very depressing, not to mention dangerous
Roll on spring, I want to be in the garden !

 

When did you move to France.

 

Lovely and sunny...well except in our main garden at this time of year...still in the shade and frosty.

 

At 8am it went to -1c and the drizzle froze, road ice skating rink

now tis 2c sunny

 

Still minus overnight but each day is slightly less cold than the previous. Snow still lying on the pavements.

 

It's been brilliantly sunny all morning but some patchy clouds have come up now, a breeze sprang up for a while as well.
Temperature reached 4c for an hour or so but is dropping back now.

 

Northwest…. Sunshine 2c and snow melting in places

 

Started off beautifully sunny this morning but now it's thick, wet snow. Not settling yet, but if it carries on tonight, it quite probably will given the -2°C forecast. On the bright side, it's a good time to defrost the freezers

 

It's been sunny but nippy.

 

Is it just me or has this felt like one of the longest, darkest, coldest feeling winters in many a year. No sign of the snow plough either

 

Clear sky and light winds from the west north west temp 0c feels like -3c

 

We woke up to completely transparent skies this morning! I love to see days like these when you get wall to wall sunshine all day long - just wish it were a little warmer & that the wind would die down! With the clear skies came another night of frost - which will be repeated tonight as well - & frost covered everything thing, like a light snowfall! We had -2C this morning & are forecast the same for tonight. We are also forecast another day of blue skies!

Just checked the Met Office app & it seems they have changed the forecast from earlier & it's not freezing at the moment but will in a couple of hours time. Even then they now forecast -1C! The forecast for tomorrow is clouds in the morning & sunny periods during the afternoon.

We only reached about 3-4C during the day today & we are forecast similar temps for tomorrow.

 

Sunny until mid afternoon. With a doctors appointment to attend, Mr S and I spent a good while this morning shovelling snow from our drive to get the car out. During the course of this a snow plough cleared the road. Just as we set out there was a snow storm, so a second gear, two mile drive to the end of our road. 0C/32F
