How's everyone today?

It's going to be another lovely sunny day here, not sure of what we're up to today but no doubt we'll find something to busy ourselves with.

Hopefully tonight will be the last ( for now) of our minus C temperature nights so I will be able to continue clearing up the remaining borders from tomorrow. I can't wait to see things a little tidier out there.

Morning. This is a picture of a teeshirt I ordered yesterday. It is coming from China so it will take at least a month to get here.

Oh dear, all these mass shootings in America!!!

It is sunny, breezy and 5c here having gone down to 3.8c at 7am.

it is our friend John's day to go to Loule for his Biocard, also at 11am but he will need at least an hour to get there as he is further away. Hope all goes well for him. Having paid my new Invoice I am now waiting for the card but don't expect it before February.

Nothing planned for here except keeping warm. I keep looking at my Hibiscus in pots and they appear to be hanging on.

I wonder what Munchin and Van's reactions will be to having a new ( and big) companion roaming the house and garden!!

Sorry to hear about your aunt @Upsydaisy it's very sad It's nice she reached 90 yrs of age.

I have lots of leggings in all materials including nice velour cords. Currently wearing black jeans jeggings.

It is 30f -1c and cloudy again, I think as it is still pitch. The guessers are still insisting that a nasty storm will be here tomorrow. The sunshine we got yesterday lasted about 20 minutes but I did manage to get outside and soak some in.

@Flumpy I am lucky to have a crabapple tree and in the fall collected just enough to make the juice I need for one batch. Then left the rest of the little apples for the squirrels and the birds. And yes, I have to keep busy. When I get bored, I seem to wander around eating whatever has sugar in it. Then it seems only minutes from the lips to the hips

I think I will have another go at macarons. I have to go out today anyway so I might as well pick up some new almond flour while there. It will give me something to do during tomorrow's flurries.

I like the cat clothes @Victoria . The pullover with the cat sticking his tongue out is cute too.

Hopefully that's the last of the -C's for a while .

Off out early this morning to go with my sister to attend a hospital app. The bus leaves at 9:05.

Then hubs and I have to go out in the afternoon....somehow I don't think any gardening will get done today after all.
Never mind.

My Aunt's funeral is booked for the 17th of next month.
My brother in law's Aunt passed away on Saturday.... I'm not liking this year very much!!

It is sunny and very breezy again and 6c. This cold snap will continue this week.

Brenda and Donald are coming over this afternoon for a visit and to see all the works. We didn't get together over the Holidays.

Unfortunately John's appointment was a 'No Go' as the system was down again and he waited round for 90 minutes.

It is just under freezing and we're waiting for the snow to start.

@Victoria that has got to be sooo frustrating for J. Particularly having to wait that long. I really don't understand why they couldn't have told him right away instead of procrastinating. It doesn't make people happier with making them wait longer for bad news!

The snow is supposed to start in the next hour or so but I don't think much will accumulate before my hair is dry and that is when I'm going out to start shoveling.

We're still playing wait and see with tomorrow's tea party. I will make the various mayo fillings in advance but will not be assembling anything until I know that it will go forward.
