No frost but quite chilly at 2c. It's cloudy and dry heading to 6c.

I wonder if the RSPCA would be of help....just say that you don't know where it lives but you have noticed it's been peeing blood over the last few days. They have a microchip reader ,so will be able to contact the owners. They also won't give up until treatment has be sought and given.
Just play dumb about your knowledge of whereabouts you think it lives.....they will find the owners!! They might start caring for the poor mite better once they realise the RSPCA have been informed. :fingers crossed:

I had a cat hanging around years ago and the RSPCA wasn't interested, just said take it to the nearest vet.

Try again, as this time you know it's poorly and no doubt suffering. It's a different situation to having one just hanging around imo.
If no luck try the Cats Protection or Blue Cross. An authority needs to become involved so that the owners are are found and made accountable, also it will be officially logged too.:dbgrtmb:

The other one years ago was ill, apparently and they put it down.
I was treated very suspiciously as they thought I was the owner and didn't want to pay.

I know this is different as he's chipped.

Was 'the other one' the pretty light ginger long-haired one and this one the smaller ginger one?

The sun is still out but that breeze is still with us and 12.8c and that will be our high ... another cold night forecast.
