We get frozen broad beans from Iceland Vicky or dried from the big International Store in Southampton. All other beans are bought dried too but can be found easily in our local supermarkets, we do also keep a few tinned versions in our store cupboard for emergencies/ quickness.

Our huge local Asda Supercentre also has a pretty good International aisle too.:dbgrtmb:

      Parcel tracking.
Has anyone found it useful, half the stuff you buy online gets a tracking number and when you check, it tells you mostly nothing.
Is there really any point, to me its only ever worked on a few international deliveries.
The likes of most of the parcel deliverers , including the fantastic Royal mail, it never seems to work, but they always seem to send you a text message after it been delivered.

I bloody know when its been delivered you idiots, unless of course that is because they often deliver to the wrong adress and it's up to you to go and get it.

When I send parcels abroad to my offspring via Royal Mail, the tracking is always good @pete. I find that here it depends on which supplier is sending the parcel. Some function, many don't.

Well I've never tried tracking an outgoing parcel only incoming and international stuff seems better.

I had one tracked a parcel which show it at Bristol MC center then 3 minutes later posty knocked on the door, now that's good service

Order something the other day and it took 23 hours to get to me, from order to delivery, there is 2 types of tracking numbers with royal mail 1 you can follow and another you can't but show it delived i think the 1 you can track end's in GB

We usually use Track 17 for whatever and from wherever. I currently have my Omega3 tablets from Germany 'lost' with DHL ... surprise! It now says Held for Pickup at Carrier Location ... Where??? I don't pay to run around Algarve looking for them but will drive to our postbox 6kms away if they ring (number in address). I will contact the Supplier for refund beginning of the week.

In the meantime yesterday evening I ordered some from a Supplier in Poland I have used several times and this morning I got notification it has shipped, FreePost.

We received an email, yesterday, from a company we just set up an account with. They said, that in reply to an email we sent them, they didn't have a record of our email address(?). I replied to say that the email address they sent the email to was the correct email. Today they replied to my email saying they still did not have our email address. Thankfully, our business with them was completed satisfactorily before this email exchange started. What numpties.

Just kind of shows that there no shortage otherwise they wouldn't have the stuff to sell at stupid prices.

It's an abhorrent number. All the people struggling with money and this comes out is a real kick in the nuts.
There's never been a shortage of oil or other methods of energy generation, just the rules and backhanders that govern it that are crippling people

So the Welsh ruby union bosses have now banned choirs from singing "Delilah" at all international ruby matches at the Principality stadium in Cardiff. My guess, the fans will sing it 10 times louder this weekend when they take on Ireland. The worlds gone mad, next they will be banning "Bohemian rhapsody" etc etc
