    Only played with paper toweling to start some cannabis seeds. I roll the seeds in the paper, then dunk in a glass of water to soak overnight, then turn the roll the other way round to keep the bottom of the paper in the water to wick up moisture until the seeds germinate. Certainly nothing strenuous.

    @Loofah pics please?

      Just in passing, have you managed to sterilise the compost?, and how?

        @CanadianLori it looks less than spectacular but the raised beds and greenhouse are usable and I've shifted 3-4 tonnes of topsoil mix

          Check greenhouse. Then start with the weeding.

            I'm getting ahead of myself but wondering if I should plant the lime tree in the greenhouse or keep it in a pot?

            You have a bigger green house than I have, but I planted a clementine in the ground in my green house and I find it difficult to keep the size down, first three years were ok but it's hit the roof and when I try cutting it back it just sends out really strong growth with no flowers until it hits the roof again.
            Maybe @noisette47 can give you some guidance as I've not grown limes.

              I've only potted up some chilies. Shineybrids and scotch bonnets.

              @Loofah I'm envious. No, that's wrong. Downright Jealous! Thanks for sharing the pics.

                  Well @shiney if you're talking about outdoor gardening, same here. It is -2f -19C and everything is quite thoroughly frozen.

                      Thanks, if I get around to glazing it hopefully it will be a decent glasshouse again :)

                        Weeding going well. Decided to dig up Lilium henryi, grown from seed some years ago. Bulbs were deeper than I expected and shoots were already growing (whoops). I hadn't thought that in this more "normal winter" they would be so far on.
                        Any way 7 big bulbs to replant and a number of small bulblets, probably no, or at best few flowers this year.
