I had a BBQ some years ago and after a few drinks a rendition of Delilah started up courtesy of JB standing on his chair. A few seconds later and he'd disappeared backwards into the border :roflol:

Don't think it was just a hint

Are we going to have to start a thread where we can ban any song that has some violence in it? At least half the classic Folk and Blues song will disappear.

Southern water get fined every time they let sewage run into the rivers and sea.
Cant remember how much they were fined last year but a near 10% hike in price rises should pay for it.:frown:

The government built a massive lorry park near the M20 to park lorries for expected delays caused by Brexit, its never been used and now they dont know what to do with it.

But they still park lorries on the M20 whenever there is a hold up causing chaos.

I think the answer is obvious but the dimwits running it all cant seem to put 2 and 2 together.

No problem...they'll be needing it when the new border control procedures for the public are implemented later this year  (EES / ETIAS)

Yeah but will they use it, they prefer to close the motorway instead.

I'm fed up with people telling me what to do, it's been annoying me and going around in my mind all week, and it's getting on my nerves.

The lady that cuts my hair always says what a lot of plants I've got and why don't I sell them.
I DON'T WANT TO SELL THEM ! Growing plants is what I do so shut up and mind your own business ...
A neighbour from down the road also keeps telling me to sell my plants because (according to her) I've got too many.
Well she can shut up as well. What I do is MY business, and if I want to have lots of plants, I'll have lots of plants.

They, and a friend, keep telling me to get rid of clothes but I don't want to get rid of them. I've got clothes that I may not wear for 4 years but then I decide to wear them again. I can say "I think I'll wear that today for a change" but if I'd got rid of it I wouldn't be able to say that would I.
My clothes are MY business and if I want to keep something for 4 years or 10 years and then wear it again, that's up to me. They are my property and not in anyone's way so Mind Your Own Business !

Why do people think I must be like them and do the same as them ?? I am not them and what's right for them is not right for me ... and vice versa.
I have a brain, and it works, so I am quite capable of deciding what to do with my own property !

End of rant ... I feel happier now

Gosh, hat is nearly new to me. :heehee: I have some items 25 years old, some I still wear occasionally and others I don't.

As for plants ... I am with you here too. Bet they have boring gardens and possibly boring uninteresting lives.

                      Stand your ground Michael. :love30:

I also have clothes 25 and more years old and still wear them (although some are too tight for me now ! :heehee: I never buy anything very fashionable so they don't look dated and I look after them so they remain in good condition.

Yes my neighbour down the road has one big square of gravel and a path going around it. She has two tubs with annuals in the summer.
My hair-cutting lady has slabs and a few pots ...
                        all very boring :frown:

They've been getting on my nerves hence the rant ...
