Good morning everyone , I hope your weekend is going well. We are looking forward to a gorgeously sunny day today.

I had a good day outside yesterday and I actually got around to some seed sowing.

Plans are for a similar day again today.

Morning @Flumpy , sorry I forgot to answer your post...re - the young looking great grand parents The saga continues .

I think they both look around the similar age, maybe he's a tad older. His hair looks natural enough as people with that colouring tend to hold on to it longer. My brother in-law is in his mid 70s and still has a head of hair of the same colour.

Good morning Upsydaisy, my mum is 87 and still has her hair coloured, it still suits her and her complexion hasn’t changed.

we will never know who’s the oldest with that couple, just think he looks older than her and my hubby just said definitely

Morning. This pic reminds me Munchkin brought in a huge rat the other day .... which J promptly retrieved and disposed of! Here is one he retrieved another time ...

A lovely day ahead and rain forecast for Tuesday/Wednesday ... much needed as J had to water drooping plants yesterday. I shall sit out again as I did for 45 minutes yesterday late morning getting the sun on my face.

Morning Flumpy .. we crossed paths.

I think the couple are 50-ish. They said they had been together 22 years and had 2 daughters plus the rest, so everyone made haste early early early! My sister married at 17 and had her son when she was 18. I was ginger which turned to strawberry blonde and at nearly 75 still am. I think your Mum looks great Flumpy but I thought she was 83.

 

Oh @Flumpy yes I know people colour their hair well into old age..nothing wrong with that at all so long as you remember to go for lighter shades as your complexion changes.
What I meant was that people with that colour hair retain their natural colour for longer where as all of us left start seeing the grey hairs appearing earlier.

 

Oh yes, we are without landline/Internet again. Went out last night about 10.30 in the middle of The DaVinci Inquest so will have to watch that episode again!

 

Hi Victoria, my dad is 83 & my mum is 87, Aawe thanks she does look great for her age and yes some people are lucky to not go grey until later, my dads hair is white and he had dark brown

Morning Upsy. Yes, have slept well the last two nights, thank you.

We have been back on line for weeks and got 25 Euro compensation. When we came past the "problem area" last week, it looked like more lines drooping. Our poles are wood and old and disintergrating. J will contact them.
