Good day
It is mild again 34f 2c and extremely breezy. I made sure to stack the recycle at the kerb this morning, in a manner to keep any papers or plastics from trying to escape the bins. The clouds are moving across the sky at an impressive speed too. Hopefully getting blown away to let the sun shine.

@Victoria you've inspired me. I got lazy and haven't done any of my little exercises for 3 days so I'll pick up my weights and get back at it @Upsydaisy I envy you being able to dry clothes outside.

I go to see my wine guy today to top up my supply of cheap plonk for my spritzers. My collection of good wines is growing at an alarming extent so I'll have to have some parties to cut down that stock to so that it will fit in the wine fridge again. Right now it is taking up the whole door of the cellar side by side as well as the wine fridge.

I've got some pleasant chores to take care of today and will be able to take care of them at a slouch pace.

I just pick my days very careful, thankfully we have loads of everything....bedding, towels etc. so no fear of running low now that it's only the two of us.
If it looks like rain then I just leave the laundry for a more suitable day...either sunny or breezy.

Vicky I hope the winds have died down and didn't cause any damage.

Lori it's my turn to envy you now ...I love wine but unfortunately it doesn't love me at all. I was advised by my consultant to avoid all alcohol...which I do apart from the occasional sip or two on special occasions...but I pay for it later.

I hope to get a couple more trays sown this morning before I make a start on the garden.

Antiquated house in Bucarest Romania. I love it!

Good morning. Of course the landline/Internet was not restored at 8pm last night as informed!!!

Overcast and very breezy/gusty this morning but 12c with a 5c feel. Forecast for 16c later with strong winds. No Upsy, we don't get affected by the winds as we are protected by the evergreen orchards and our trees/shrubs are big, old and strong. The patios and Courtyard are protected by 60cm/2 foot thick walls of the house.

A quiet day here, maybe a movie this afternoon ... we tend to watch a moviie or two on the weekends. J's choice.

Shame about internet /landline , although I doubt they would be allowed to work in such strong winds...fingers crossed for today.

Good day
It is 33f 1c and the sun has finally broken through the clouds.

I'm just now sat down as I have been busy since my feet hit the floor this morning.

I've got the clothing laundry done. Baked rolls, baked gluten free chocolate chip cookies for autistic grandson, baked regular chocolate chip cookies.

Potted up my 25 kelsae onions. And potted 3 more super hot chili peppers. Moved the furniture around in my living room and laid down heavy vinyl and started cover that with the larger pots where my canna rhyzomes? and other bulbs/tubers will be planted.

I have some electrical work to attend to on my battery array and as soon as the sun completely obliterates the clouds, will do that maintenance. If it keeps playing peek a boo, I'll wait until tomorrow.

And I need to rearrange a few things in the greenhouses. Yes, it is only just above freezing but the greenhouses heat up very nicely even with only sporadic sunshine.

Have a lovely evening - it is only 12:41 p.m. here so I've got lots of time to get things done

Another dull, grey, dry but mild day here the sun seems to have vanished and rain is now lurking in the wings for next week.


Vicky that house is very creepy looking!!!!! I've just got to Google it and learn it's history in a minute.

I didn't get to sow anymore seeds yesterday as we ended up going out, so .. I'll get round to it today.

I looked up that house too and saw several different versions of what it is. I agree that it is creepy looking!

I've got a Hilda morning with Corrie and I will be making lots more soil blocks as the show is airing. And I will be giving the plant saucers a good scrub too. Definitely char woman duty!

Hi all, sorry if I’m quiet, my mum isn’t well, we’ve noticed her loose quite a lot of weight in the last few months, Friday she was feeling sick, muzzy head, cold, week, short of breath if she walked to the kitchen and pressure in her head, Doctor came yesterday did her blood pressure which was fine and checked her lungs and said was clear, but she’s no appetite and looks pale, so she’s got to go straight to the doctors tomorrow as they are worried about her weight , I’ll keep you posted x

I hope that the doctor can figure out the weight loss cause and give her back some pep.

 

@Flumpy, strange I just asked about your Mum on Friday. Sending best wishes for a quick recovery and that it is nothing serious.
