Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

This is where it gets tricky....dawn is at 7h29 but sunrise is at 8h02. Sunset is at 18h07 but dusk lasts until 18h39. We're an hour ahead of you, yes The timing for the automatic door is a bit critical because Stevie the wonderchick likes to potter about for some time after the other two have gone in. Teenagers, eh?! Who'd have them?

 

Ah right.....OH had a big, heavy Jaguar or RR cover many years ago. I think it was elasticated around the bottom, so it stayed put. Must admit it was never tested out in a Scottish gale, though

 

They're not made like they used to be and elasticated one's balloon out and either pull themselves free or tear. I wonder if they are what are currently being seen in other countries airspace at the moment.

 

Fortunately the cloud cover forecast for today all disappeared around 10.30 am! After that we had a nice sunny day with a bit of a breeze but not too uncomfortable. We must have reached about 10C - at least where one was sheltered from the breeze which was rather cool!

Talking about wind we are forecast to have warm air come up from the Iberian peninsula on Wednesday & it will bring some Saharan dust with it! So, if it doesn't get washed out in the forecasted showers towards the evening, we could be in for a spectacular sunset!

A bit overcast, calm, 12c going t 17c with perhaps a shower later.

 

The sun popped out a couple of times but now it is cloudy/gusty/windy and 14c.

 

Cold and foggy this morning! We could hardly see across the road to the houses opposite us! The Met Office app said we had - 2C at 7am and we had a yellow weather warning for fog. That has now more or less lifted but a little mist is still hanging around. During the afternoon we are forecast lots of sunshine!
