Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Sunny/cloudy/breezy/18c.

 

Its 51F, too warm. My daffs are going nuts and lots of big patches of snowdrops.

 

A mild but grey day today and it's even milder tomorrow.

 

I've obviously missed the mild bit today, I suppose it wasn't cold but grey damp and drizzly.
Pretty awful really.
10.8c was the highest I got.

 

Following a pretty sunrise over a light mist, another day of wall-to-wall sunshine with a light breeze. Perfect gardening weather! It's getting harder to pull weeds out, though as the ground is pretty dry for the time of year.

 

The forecast rain for the overnight period did put in an appearance & so it was wet when we got up this morning. Then while we were having breakfast there was another shower of rain - though we didn't actually see it the balcony was all freshly wet.

It's been a cloudy day here with the sun only putting in a brief appearance in the last half an hour as it fell beneath the cloud layer. Today's temp has been around 12-13C. The sunlight was so bright coming in through the balcony windows into our living room that it practically blinded us! We had to close the curtains over the balcony windows as bright light hurts my wife's eyes.

It seems tomorrow we are in for a very windy day! Though the wind is forecast to drop off quite sharply after sunset. It will be another very cloudy day, as Saturday will be too.

 

An hours sunshine this morning followed by cloud for the rest of the day. Some drizzly showers from just before dusk too. 4C/39F

We had the first rain in about a month Wednesday night into Thursday.

Damp ground, but then nothing is drying up, we have not had much rain.
