Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Overcast, breezy, 12c going to 20c with showers forecast tonight/early morning.

 

Set off from West Cumbria at 5.00am on the way to Lincoln, heavy rain to scotch corner. Hit the A1 at 6.50am and only just arrived at Wetherby services, the gales are playing havoc. Two wagons blown over at Catterick and one truck nearly put me into the central reservation, brew time now.

 

Thick cloud and a fresh breeze from the west south west temp 12c feels like 10c.

 

Wind has got up and the sun is out.
Just passing 13c.

 

A gorgeous dry sunny day and the wind has dropped to gale force.

Have the roof tiles stayed in place?

 

Mist cleared but it has remained dull. A westerly but not fierce doesn't look as if the sun will make it today....

It is 17c, overcast, breezy and miserable, very Wintery ... even the Furries won't go out and both are on the bed.

We had a lot of wind overnight & for most of the day today. I was even able to spend a WHOLE hour outside on the balcony - first time I think I've been out for so long so far this year! We have had sun & clouds chasing each other over the sky today but the temps were quite mild with about 15C being our max! Not at all bad - for mid-February! Will we have to pay it back in March? Only time will tell!

 

The wind started to pick up here around 1am reaching between 60-65mph for a few hours. Living a little west of the east coast I think we missed the worst of it. The rest of the day has been mostly sunny and calm. 4C/39F
