What Advertisements Do You Dislike/Hate?

I've just seen an advert where Amanda Holden and Davina McCol are wittering on about something. Something to do with the clothes they're wearing but it was just completely meaningless drivel.

I can't say I hated the advert, I just couldn't get my brain to follow it. There was nothing in it that caught my attention, other than a funny experience years ago that it reminded me of.

Years ago, I was visiting my friend and his girlfriend at their flat. The three of us were chatting fine then suddenly it was just me and my mate. Then my mate suddenly said, 'have you ever noticed that sometimes when women start nagging or talking about fashion, your brain just blocks them out?'. It was at this point I suddenly realised my brain had just completely blanked out his girlfriend's existence for a whole ten minutes. This advert reminded me of that.

 

That horrid inappropriate tampon ad at the dinner table.

 

We did find it funny initially .... but not 3/4 times in a half hour programme (The Chase) ... and it boggles the mind on a compost heap!!!

 

We saw this ad this morning between 8.30 and 9am as we don't get up till 9am.
