Sunday morning all its 7AM. coffee in hand. Right now temp here in Southern PA , USA is 29F. Yes, would love some snow send it @CanadianLori .
Yesterday, my good neighbor came through our woods with his new German Sheppard puppy, so awesome to hug one again, the cutest thing, and listen well, a beautiful little guy. This will be their 5th Sheppard, if memory serves, they get one at a time. We have had two It will be a joy watching him grow and run amuck on their acres through the wood views.
Husband said the other day we need a gardener here to help, yep, been saying that for years. Even if its just in the fall to get the leaves up. Have a nice gardener person at our Airbnb in North Carolina, he does an awesome job. He's very good with being aware of plantings, and will send us pictures . He is also a photographer---just sent us a picture of our wooden pathway to our dock. DockRESIZED..jpg Well, back to the paperwork for taxes. Maybe it will dry out later for some garden work. Have an awesome day.

            Good day
It is 34f 1c and not snowing. The heavy shoveling and lifting is over for another few days. :phew:

@Flumpy that is sad to hear. I'm sending hugs too and a bag of my strength to pass on to your Mum.

I just have my usual Sunday chores to do and of course be Hilda during my beloved Corrie.

            Cheers :coffee:

Good morning everyone, how are you all today.?

Speaking with son No.3 yesterday I was surprised when he said that he wasn't feeling particularly cold after returning home on Monday from 11 weeks travelling around South America. I thought he would take a while to reacclimatise especially as we in a nippy spell right now.

A bright start to our day but I don't think it will last for very long .

Not sure what's on our agenda for today apart from the normal household chores.

We'll plan around whatever the weather throws at us..

              Enjoy your day.

Morning all. Slept well last night as I did Saturday night, nearly eight hours.

Had a smidgen of rain earlier and again we are forecast rain sporadically through the day. It is grey and 11c now going to 17c.

Oh, I thought it was today he arrives home.

Nothing going on here today with this dreary weather.

                  Morning Vicky.

Glad to hear that you slept well last night, it makes all the difference doesn't it.

                  Such a cute pic.:imphrt:

No he came home last Monday, stepped off the plane at Heathrow at 7am and was in his study, logged in and working from home by 10.
Originally I had thought he was due back the 1st week of March, and the 1st of March was on the Wednesday so I was a couple of days out.:)

Likewise nothing much going on here either, I think we have rain due later. I seem to have too much time on my hands now since putting the brakes on to my seed sowing.
My sister has one of her daughter's dogs staying with her. She had to have surgery last week ( the dog) , if she can handle a walk my sister says she'll take her up and around the nearby green...to be honest I'm not too sure if my sis can manage it. I had thought of joining them but haven't made up my mind yet...just in case I get the job!!!

Looks like it could end up another jigsaw day after the dusting gets done. :dbgrtmb:

Have a good day both of you.xx

                      Good day
It is 30f -1c and cloudy and there is only a slight breeze so certainly mild for us :)

@Victoria it is good that you had a full night's sleep. The golden and the fawn are cute!

@Upsydaisy I seem to have missed something, or lost the plot, since I don't understand the, "just in case I get the job". I'm on a brief break from seed sowing as I had marked all of the starting dates on a calendar and am trying to keep to that schedule. It notes that I have nothing until Wednesday that needs starting.

I'm going to carry on working with blind hemming the drapery panels today and then only a bit of hand sewing and touch up steaming left to do tomorrow.

                      Cheers :coffee:

                        Good morning Lori

The job I was desperately trying to avoid was walking my niece 's dog :doggieshmooze:,she is recovering from leg surgery. I'm off round there in a moment but my sister got the times mixed up and in fact the dog won't be dropped off until this evening.

Seed sowing is the easy bit isn't it.......it's now fast approaching the pricking out and potting on stage, have to say it's not my most favourite task. Panic mode sets in as I discover I need more pots!!

                        Have a good day Lori.

Sorry, I thought you were talking two different things.

I agree about the potting on - I have a lot of sweet peas that are getting too tall to be supported by the little soil blocks!

Hello all. Beautiful sunny weather here today, a lovely 44 degrees. Yesterday a nice 2 mile walk with my neighbor /friend. Just normal stuff today, house laundry and some food shopping. And of course taxes. Maybe an hour in the garden, have some bulbs need thinning. Have a good day all.
