Yesterday I was out & about & saw plenty of flowering trees. In fact our local council planted a very long double line of trees back in October - November & in between they planted 1,000s of Daffodils & Crocuses - I had no idea they had done this till a week or two ago when I saw Daffodil leaves pushing through the soil! I was fortunate enough to see them again yesterday but now they were flowering!

Even a few of the trees had started to put out pink flowers! I checked the trees months ago to see if they had a name tag but none of them had.

The first two trees stand like guards on either side of the entrance to a street called 'Sycamore Close'.

Oh, well done, it looks healthy. I have some of those seeds but not from Chiltern.

This tree wasn't in blossom yesterday. The rain we had must have woken it up :)

                      A few from today.

Planted another 1060 tulips in November 22, mainly in pots so should have quite a colourful display soon.

Aww @Sienna's Blossom .. such treasures ..:imphrt:...I have a case full that I received over our children's younger years. All gifts from them were lovely but during the early years stage it was the homemade ones that really and truly touched my heart. I have one such drawing on my dressing table and it makes me smile every day, it was from our middle son and is a picture of ...me!!

I have curly hair that sports a lopsided hair cut ( I occasionally permed my hair back in the old days ;)) ,huge earings in my ears and the standard 'stick' arms and legs. Underneath he proudly wrote ' My Mummy'. It always makes me start my day with a warm feeling in my heart.:imphrt:
