So lovely @Upsydaisy I agree the homemade ones are the most meaningful. Memories to treasure for sure.

I treasure everything that relates to our 3...my hubs thinks I'm a bit.... :roflol:. The other day he knocked over a little pot I have in our kitchen ( one of my secret squirrelling ones;)) and our brood 's baby teeth rolled out!!!

Have a great Mothers Day @Sienna's Blossom , I know it will tug at your heartstrings today. :grphg:xx

Went to see parents today as it's Mothering Sunday and took a few photos of some of their flowers.

No photos unfortunately but yesterday (18/3) saw near my garden pond, both a Large Tortoiseshell and a Brimstone butterfly in flight, early I think, just hope they survive

Must have been lovely to see them @infradig. Yes, hope they survive. Not seen any yet this year but I did have a tortoiseshell overwintering in a bedroom last winter and I kept it going with sugared water. Was so pleased when the warm weather came and it could fly away.

We saw a Tortoiseshell flitting amongst the blooms in our open coldframe yesterday too.

First pots of tulips flowering. Usually have Queen of Night, Ronaldo, other dark ones but received loads of new ones as presents last year (all colours and all shapes) and the first two pots are in flower.
