Some lazy person has let their dog poo outside my gate. I've put a sign on my gate using not very polite language, that will upset the snowflakes no doubt.

There's a cat around here that poops all over the place. It's left one right on the lid of the water meter!

I feed some Foxes, they sometimes poo in the garden, I don't mind clearing this up, but the Dogs are on their way to the local park with humans in tow.
Don't have a Dog if you won't pick it up.

              We have lots of poo
cat, dog, ducks, cow, sheep, bird, fox, human and the worst human poo in carryer bags so when picking up litter be carefull of carryer bags here and we also have a place where people stop to have a pee which happens to be outside of our house
then you get cow/bullock poo whic falls of the muck spreader and farmer won't clean it up

I booked a hotel for Saturday. We're going to an event at 3pm, so the plan was to check in at 2pm, which was listed as the earliest check in time when I booked it, dump our luggage, go to the event, then come back and chill for a bit before going out for an evening meal, sleep over, come back next day.

                    Great.

I emailed the hotel to see if there was any possibility of an earlier check in than the 2pm stated when booking. Good job I did. They informed me that actually earliest check in is 3pm. No good to us. So I cancelled, and now the kids are disappointed. There was no way I was paying over 200 quid just to risk storing our luggage unattended in the car, then rush about, ultimately just using it for a nights sleep before coming home first thing in the morning. 200 quid for no chill time, and four of us camped in one room. They can bugger off.

This is the oposite of a moan, but it leads on from the real moan I had not long ago about an appointment to have an account in the Nationwide B S, which took nearly two hours and was full of long waits and intrusive questions.

I didn't take up their account, they can shove it, but I went to a different B S in a different town today and got my account with them. It took 20 minutes, and after showing my identification driving licence and water bill, the only questions I was asked were my post code, was I a British citizen, my telephone number, and my email address.
The fact I havent got and will never have a mobile phone was of no concern to them, unlike the Nationwide, who made a big hoohaa over it.
I wasn't even ask my date of birth.
                        What a difference !

And that makes me wonder why the N W made all that fuss and asked all those intrusive questions.

A few years ago I wanted to change my account at Nationwide from the one I was using to one with a slightly higher interest rate.
They have this dodgy approach where if you dont change from time to time you end up on an account paying pretty much zero interest.
Anyway, I was told to come back in an hour when somebody could see me, the branch is in town so didn't have time to go back home but had to hang around for an hour.

When I did eventually get to see someone they did the master mind question session then took my pass book from me and just put a different sticker on the front.

I said is that it then? I've been waiting over an hour for you to just change the sticker on the front of my book.
All I got was a blank look and then totally ignored.
                            I do it online now.

I don't do anything on line concerning my bank accounts, I thik it's too risky, and I will never go to the Nationwide again.
