Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Nice drizzling rain all morning 9c

 

Not sure where they get the idea its very mild, it never is when its so grim, the super mild weather appears to be for one day why are they making a big thing about it.

 

So jealous!
22c now 48% humidity with a lovely fresh breeze. Nice.

 

33f it was 34f a few minutes ago so I figure the guessers got it right when they said that it will get colder and start snowing later. Tonight they threaten us with 19f which is -7c. It is still too cold for even the onions to survive in the unheated green house.

 

Miserable; gentle persistent rain, about 12°C, fresh breeze from the SW.

 

You must be fed up with it now.
What day does summer start for you this year?
I know you dont really get this long half winter half something else that we call spring.

 

Yes @pete we do seem to have early spring that is just a teensy bit milder than bitter winter and then we get a walloping just to keep us sitting up. And about mid June someone turns on the heat. There is virtually no jumper weather, just heavy coats or Tshirts!

It is frustrating not having a slow steady rise in temps because then it would be so easy to schedule tasks.

 

I thought it was before mid June but there you go.
Sounds a long wait.

 

I'm talking about temps going suddenly from barely climbing to 60f or so and then suddenly going up in the high 70's.

I don't ever recall a nice spring where one could putter about in a jumper and be comfortable.

The snow is guessed to arrive by 4p.m. but be over after 7 with rain for a short while before and after. So it won't be any big fuss as the snow will melt quickly.

 

Cloudy again with bouts of drizzle. A little warmer at 10C/50F.

Although the morning was cool & we had some light rain for a few hours the afternoon was better though the only sun lasted but a short time before the clouds blocked it out again. Light winds & no rain during the afternoon.
