@lolimac Are you saying that you need some seeds? I've sowed all mine but I think I may have a few chillies left on a plant (not sure) and if I do I can pick and send you a few seeds. It's not too late to sow them. :wub2:

Thanks, I will start looking out around about then.

I have ordered plugs from online before.
It usually takes them a few weeks to deliver.

I want to get going on my windowsills as soon as :blue thumb:
And can't be bothered to try an nurse seed grown plants through the darkest months of winter.

                      Hello all,

I'm late to the party this year but just put my chili seedlings into the grow tent. I started them using the paper towel method about 7 days ago and have just put them into my hydro setup (see photos). Tomatoes will follow when the grow tent is clear.

This years varieties are a little less exciting than in previous years but are all edible (not too hot) and suitable for cooking with.

                      They are: -
                      8off Large Jalapeños
                      4off Cayenne
                      4off Thai Birds Eye
                      2off Corno Di Torro Rosso
                      2off Romano
                      2off Giant Bell
                      2off King of the North
6off various spares just in case

                      Temperature set to 26C
                      200w Growlight set to 60%
Water at pH6.0 with hydro nutrients

Let's see if we can catch up.

                          Hello all (again),

                          Another update.

Chilis and Sweet Peppers have now started to grow (see photos below). The Corno Di Torro Rosso and Romana are a few days behind the others but have made some progress. I've removed most of the Humidity caps now (just 1 remaining). I need them to grow quickly now as I want to free up the growtent and get the tomatoes in there. I still think we have time but it's a little bit closer than I would normally like it.

                          That's all for now.

                          Best regards.

                            I didn’t order anything online.

But I was at a local garden centre this weekend. They had a limited range some really small plug plants available.
                            So I got :

                            Scotch Bonnet
                            Hot Banana
                            Cheyenne x 3
                            Super Fresno

I will keep them indoors for the next two weeks or so, and will then move them into the (unheated) greenhouse.

My Kashmiri chillies haven't germinated so it looks like I'm settling for jalapeno, shishitso and mirasols
