Good afternoon @Upsydaisy my friend I have found that my Bergenia does better when it gets afternoon shade and it only grows in my front garden,it just won't grow in my back garden which is full sun;)

Hi @Upsydaisy my friend I would move /or divide it now

Be careful not to plant Bergenia in hot locations as leaves could scorch, sometimes necessary to move Bergenia during other times of the year. If you absolutely have to transplant and divide bergenia in the summer months, it is best to do it on a cool, cloudy day to reduce the risk of transplant shock.

Unfortunately there's not enough to divide so an all out move will be carried out.:thankyou::star:

It will be fine in a shady spot @Upsydaisy, I have two big clumps of it in damp shade.

What was supposed to be a 'blue wave' bank but most 'blue' plants turn out a pinkish mauve. The Lithodora, Camassia and Campanula do their best...
