The robin was back again following me around, not quite getting in the way.

A lorry pulled up outside this morning and a scrap man came over and enquired whether I had anything I wanted rid of. He declined to take OH, but he was delighted when I asked him to take away the Espace that's been sitting on the drive for about 6 years, to be used for spare parts. Instead of having to pay someone to take it away, I made some pocket money and I've got a lovely, uncluttered drive instead of a wasp hotel :hapfeet: Happy doesn't begin to describe it!

Where to start? I had a brain scan and they found one! It seems to be functioning as well  The weather is perfect for gardening, sunny but cool, and the ground is damp, so lots of planting going on. OH spent a happy couple of hours mooching round Noz (the cheapest, lowest-of-the-low bargain basement of a 'shop' in France) and bought me a short-handled shovel, so I can shovel my mulch more easily. The kindness and thoughtfulness of that man never ends....
Our two-hour midday cheap-rate electricity was restored on the 15th, so I can get back into my routine of using machines and appliances during the day if I need to.
Lots of other, trivial things too. Every little helps

I went into the kitchen at work to make myself a cuppa. A younger colleague was in there. When he greeted me, he addressed me as 'young man'.

I have clicked the 'ignore' button for two irritating members on here and it has made me HAPPY because I don't have to see their sensless gabble ever again, even if I never read it it was there but now I don't see it and I am HAPPY.

A Euphorbia I thought had been killed in the frost is still alive and sprouting new shoots. I was about to put it in the recycling bin.
Another one is dead but I have found a cutting of it in a cold frame alive and well.
