                      I think in general most of the flowering trees are doing well this year. I seem to remember that last year some around here were a bit of a disappointment - but not this year! I need to get out & take some pictures before they all go over - after all they don't last more than a couple of weeks.

                                True. Actually, this is the last photo I have of it nicely blooming dated 13 Nov 2010 ...

                                Then in June 2012 it got canker or something and I cut it back to the soil ... and there it stayed till two years ago when it shot out a stem which I cut off and rooted and repotted the Mother Plant.
