    Well, yesterday's 'slightly wet' remained like that all day. It was wet enough to need windscreen wipers on my glasses but not wet enough to warrant opening an umbrella.

                      I can't remember if we've ever had so long with just northerly/easterly winds and they are forecast for another week or more. At least it's not been raining much in Scotland, makes a nice change :biggrin:

                        It's quite usual for us to have Easterly winds at this time of year down here, but that usually means SW winds for Scotland.
                        It's unusual for us to have so much rain with Easterly winds, it's usually dry but chilly and bright.
                        Something has gone wrong with the jet stream. :biggrin:
