      I'm looking forward to hearing what you choose Woo. I'm missing my roses, they don't grow well here and the few I have the deer found last year and stripped them. :mad:

        Good morning @Sheal isn't there any way you could maybe grow one or two under cover even with some clear plastic or a makeshift greenhouse it would be possible;):smile:

          A good idea @wiseowl :thumbsup: but it would be a losing battle with the deer, the soil and living in a high, open area. Anything that is light in weight like plastic would need to be anchored well and sheltered or the wind will tear it to bits, and unfortunately I don't have a greenhouse here. I have already dug one rose out and potted it, a few others still to do, but they have to be tucked right in against the house wall hoping the deer won't see them. Although shy they are inquisitive animals so will investigate their surroundings and devour anything they have a taste for. I've heard them right outside my bedroom window overnight.

                          Good morning @Sheal just a very slight tinge ,I have 200 of them bordering the Cathedral garden,they have never given me any trouble and are disease free and grow very thickly can give them a lovely shape when toy prune them;):smile:
