    Hello all.

Just wondering if I could mix some mycorrizal powder into a water solution and pour onto soil for plant that have already been potted and are not going to be potted up?

Will it dissolve and will it work or not do you think?

    Thanks

The instructions on my pack say sprinkle the powder at the bottom of the planting hole to make contact with the roots. So I'm doubtful your idea will work. The fungi probably don't dissolve so wouldn't wash down.

I might have dreamt it, but I seem to remember seeing a version of this stuff that you can apply to existing trees and shrubs.
I notice now they are also making specific fungi for specific plants.

I'm being sceptical I know, but isn't it amazing how you need a different fertiliser for a Fuchsia, and then another one for tomato, and another one for a rose bush etc etc.
