    Good morning everyone.

Enjoying the 1st brew of the day this morning gave me my next idea for a topic..:coffee:
We always use a teapot whether it's loose leaf or in bags.

Had a super day out in the garden yesterday. Infact it got too warm to work in by the afternoon, especially in my nursery/ greenhouse area.

I was grateful to a friend of ours who turned up unexpectedly with his mischievous little dog and ended up staying all afternoon. We sat out with drinks under the sunshade. Lovely.

A 'go with the flow' day today, as we now have rain on the cards for sometime today.
I might do some potting up if and when it does arrive.

    Have a restful day everyone.

Morning all. It is overcast and very breezy so feels nice and cool although it is 17c , but we are in for a warm breezy day.

Nothing going on here, just time passing. I must look for some new pictures too and change my Avatar here and on Facebook.

Have a good one Upsy and all who follow.

          Good day
It is 44f 6c and cloudy and foggy. The guessers say it will be gloomy for at least another 3 days. I'm hoping they're wrong and a brisk wind will blow some clear skies into the region. I'm looking out in the back garden and this morning I don't see any wascally wabbits so maybe my new mesh tubes that I made to protect the tree lilies and other perennials are working to discourage these visits.

@redstar we have a joke up here that Canuck gals, to keep warm, don't shave their legs all winter and don't start again until the playoffs. That is the hockey playoffs which are going on now. Of course it's a joke. I have used an epilady for years and have very little now to worry about when the playoffs begin.. I never wear sleeveless tops as I feel kinda weird doing that at my age. Just a a little personal foible I guess however I do keep my grooming up to polite levels.

My show starts in 1/2 hour and I will be finishing up the laundry whilst it is airing.

          Cheers :coffee:

Sunday morning, 9AM Raining again. Very wet. Dark skies. This is nuts, I would like to do a few hours in the garden today with tidy up things. Going to be a jungle when we get back. Fine tuning the trip.
Selecting clothes to take, I pride myself in packing as little as possible. Nice thing about car show fashion, its blue jeans. And if an emergency, just buy something there. This year we bought a tent to take with us, so yesterday put it up for the first time to see how it works, we did well, not an argument during the whole process. We have the chairs already to take. Guess we will buy some beer when we get there, and bag of ice. Monday hope for a window of no rain, so the car can get from the garage to the trailer.

Speaking of hairy body hair. I grew up with a redheaded dad and brother, neither have much hair, and if they do its blond. So there I am a sweet little 12 year old girl with her friends sitting in the bleachers at the track in school, and some guy is running with shorts and all sorts of dark hair all over his legs. What a shocker to me.

The buds on this shrub is almost bursting, probably miss the opening of them. it is so beautiful . its on the right side of the deck, has a mild scent.
Have a grand day all. IMG_7357.JPG

Another weird but wonderful tea pot. Prepare yourselves you have two weeks worth to look forward to......I know you just can't contain your excitement!!!:roflol:

Good May Day morning everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend.

We're starting May off on a supposedly cloudy day.....it had better start getting it's act together and behaving in a proper May fashion.... With a hint of warmth and ever increasing appearances from the sun. I think we deserve that after our recent Winter.....and Spring ( so far).

I didn't get to pot up the plants yesterday as we didn't get the rain that was forcast, so I really must do that job today.

That's all that I have planned for today so far so we'll see what other tasks beg for attention.

                Have a good day.

It is a lovely fresh, sunny start here.

I used to collect teapots Upsy and did have one with a mouse ... I still have a jug with a mouse handle ... somewhere! I also collected salt and pepper shakers (have a few of them on the cooker hood.

Nothing planned here. Probably a movie. Watched To Kill a Mockingbird with Gregory Peck yesterday Having worked in Criminal Law in Alabama in the 60s/70s I felt sad about it.

                    Morning Vicky.:)

Yes we have a fair few teapots too as we always use one. I never have just put a tea bag in a cup . However they're not as wonderful...or weird as these.
I think the cat on the one above looks a bit evil.:yikes:

We woke to sunshine but it has clouded over now so unfortunately it seems our forecast is correct after all. At least it's not windy or wet and in fact the temp is pretty near perfect for me, warm enough to go sleeveless but not that warm that it's too draining to get on and do things.

Have a great movie day, I like to find a good old black and white one occasionally......even if there's a murder in it somehow life seemed much more relaxed and idyllic!!....obviously not for the poor victim!!:heehee:

Upsy, I said I have the S&P shakers on the cooker hood which sounds weird. They are china. Sorry, this is a cropped photo but there are ducks, pigs and Tigger & Piglet ... Kitchen Cooker.jpg

                        Good day
It is 39f 8c and amazingly, the skies defied the guessers doom and gloom non stop prediction and are giving me a lovely view of sunlit lawn and gardens :) Even if it's only for an hour, I'll enjoy it!

@Victoria I love that movie, "To Kill a Mockingbird", it says so much about prejudices and ignorance back then and sometimes it makes me think there are still pockets of people like that in our world. You're right, it is a sad reminder of how stupid people can be.

@Upsydaisy I mostly use an old aluminum teapot. It holds enough liquid for two mugs of tea. It looks like this one except I've never had the proper lid so I use another that fits well.[IMG]

I have a few busy days coming up so today I'm going to be Hilda as it is the only day I don't have to be out in the morning.

                        Cheers :coffee:

                          Morning all, Monday, 5-1-23. 47degrees here, 8am.
Tuesday we leave early. A few last minute things ect. Maybe even out in garden for a couple hours. My garden will be a jungle when I return. Rained again all day yesterday. I do miss my house and garden when on trips. But I also enjoy exploring new places, meeting new folks. I am sure my cat misses me. Cat sitter says she does look for him, I guess when she notices the change. Who knows with cats.
OK, folks see you on May 11th. Take care.
