      I love this one !

      Good morning.:)

:hapydancsmil::SUNsmile: Thankfully they got our forecast wrong yesterday and ended up being a gorgeous day.
A few garden jobs got tackled.:blue thumb:

I'm off to the cinema with a friend this afternoon and we're meeting up for coffee first.
We're seeing The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry. Looks good.

It will be good to shut things out for a few hours and get immersed in a film.

So that's my day, hope you all have a pleasant one too.

Morning all. It is a hazy, sunny start here and 20c.

I totally agree. Listening/watching some of the news, it takes me back to the 60s and the riots and marches in the South ... and the KKK's burning of crosses! I have either the Crime Channel or Odessiea (Nature/Wildlife) on and watch programmes about the Innocence Project.

Nothing going on here today, just J going to the Post Office I think and enjoying being outside for a few hours.

          How cute is this one!!!!

          Good morning to.......

On the subject of teapots...what is your favourite tea? Do you use loose leaf, tea bags or both.
Do you like fruit/ herbal teas as well?

We drink both bags and leaf.
          I have 2 absolutely favourite ' ordinary ' teas...
Earl Grey and Redbush..could drink them non stop!!
          But will drink any :biggrin::coffee:

          Always black without sugar.

I like Camomile and Sleepwell teas and alternate having a cup of one or the other at 11:30 before going up to bed.
The Sleepwell tea has a lovely soothing mix..Camomile, Lemon Balm, Lavender Flower, Linden Flower, Passion Flower Herb and Valerian Root.

We have ...and I will drink occasionally... fruit teas.....but they are my least favourite.

The film was great, very emotional.
I agree that walking is a great way to sort your head out and look at your life and hopefully make positive adjustments to make it better or to put things into perspective.

We also decided on the next 2 films that we want to see. :blue thumb:

I'm trying to keep upbeat as today is a hard one.

I have an appointment for a blood test this afternoon and then we'll visit my parent's grave and place flowers on it in remembrance of Mum passing away 17 years ago..seems like yesterday.

Our weather is good so will probably eat and reminisce outside in the garden.....Mums most favourite place to be.

          Enjoy your day.

Morning Upsy and all who follow.

That teapot is too busy for me.

I like Earl Grey and Mint Tea, the latter for upon rising, the former in the afternoon. I like Rooibus but can't get at the moment. Always black. Sometimes have Ginger or Spiced. Can't stand Camomile ... that is 'Hospital' tea unless you ask for Black. Don't like Fruit. Always bags nowadays. J is a coffee person, these horrid, strong toothful espressos!

A quiet day here. Have a peaceful one Upsy and trust the blood test goes well.

              Good day
When I signed in, I saw that yesterday morning's post was not "posted". I apologize for being so rude!

This morning it is 34f 1c and the guessers say it will be another day of clouds and rain which will menace us throughout the day, tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night. Non stop nasty now for a week.

@Upsydaisy I'm glad you have the opportunity to visit your parents. My parent's ashes were taken by my older sister who moved 1500 miles away and now has passed. I don't know where their ashes are

@Victoria my first reaction to the teapot was, "how the heck do you keep that clean!".

I had a nice time with my friend yesterday morning at a restaurant near her. We enjoyed lots of tea/coffee and good conversation. Then did a bit of shopping on the way home for groceries.

Today I don't have many plans. Which is good because I don't have any motivation. I will probably land up goofing around while dust collects everywhere.

              Cheers :coffee:

I have done than more than once  ... no need to apologise.

                My thoughts exactly!

My Mother is buried in New York, my Father in Texas and my Sister in Germany.Pleased you had a nice visit with your friend Lori and enjoy today.

I am not feeling 100% today ... let's just say I am staying close to the smallest room in the house!!!

Oh Lori that is so sad not knowing where they're resting.
Yes I am lucky but so long as I knew where they were that would be Ok. We are lucky to have Donna, a stone garden statue that once belonged to my parents, so we place some flowers on her on significant days. If we weren't near the cemetery and didn't have Donna then I would've bought one specifically for that purpose.

:roflol: I think you'll find most ornate teapots are for display only.

@Victoria I too hope you're going to have a good night's rest, shake whatever is trying to haul you down. :fingers crossed:

It is still raining but at least it's not like Monday. We got snow and hail. None of it stuck around but it still got me peed off!!

Snails.....definitely not my cup of tea!!! :roflol:

                        Good morning everyone.:)

Vicky I'm really hoping you managed to get a decent nights sleep and have woken up to feeling a bit better this morning.:fingers crossed: Nothing worse than a gippy tummy.

We're off into Southampton today and my sister is joining us, she hasn't been into the city for a couple of years now..in fact I think she said not since she retired from her job there!!
Not too sure how far she'll be able to walk, we'll just take things at her pace and browse where she wants to browse...the day will be hers , as we go in quite regularly.
We'll stop off somewhere for a meal ,again we'll take it leisurely and give her as much time as she needs to feel rested. It's so nice not to be in a hurry or have to meet deadlines.

Hope you all, especially you Vicky, have a pleasant day.

Morning all. Goes without saying a warm day ahead.

Had a great night's sleep, about eight hours. Feel much better, thank you Upsy and Lori. Not sure what brought it on .... but I ate a few too many Haribo 'red licorice' and this constant heat sometimes gets to me ... we are still running 8-10 degrees above normal!

Nothing going on here except J popping to the Post Office. I am waiting for some Abutilon Double Pink cuttings from Spain.

Tom has been visiting every night, eating and leaving. We watched him on the CCTV.

Have a great day in Southampton Upsy.

We may have to have a re-think here on feeding Tom. J was just going through the recordings and at 5.30am this morning we see a large white cat leaving the Jungle Room and the other day another different moggie leaving ... but Tom had got his food late in the evenings.

                              Good day
It is 44f 6c and again, cloudy. The guessers say another 24-36 hours of this gloom and we'll get some much needed sunshine.

@Upsydaisy it sounds like a lovely outing and I hope your sister thoroughly enjoys going with you.
@Victoria you seem to be the magnet for moggies and at that rate will have a thriving cattery in no time!

This morning I'm off to the doctor's to have my prolia shot in the belly. Then I go to see my wine guy. I have a little shopping to do as well but my goal is to be back here by lunch and and ready to spend the afternoon getting organized for when the sun is going to beam. I've brought all of the hot peppers plants out of the grow tents and up to the kitchen. They'll get "room temperature" and regular light cycles for a couple of days before the next stage. They don't go out to the greenhouses before most of the plants in those have been transitioned to the gardens simply because there is no room until then.

                              Cheers :coffee:

                                Morning Lori.
I don't envy you this. After several of my ops I had to do Lovenox daily for 30 days in the stomach. The nurse showed J how to do it. I think they now allow Aspirin to be taken daily.

                                Enjoy your day.
