Thanks @Upsydaisy. I was hoping to get a Roma tomato plant in the garden centre behind the market and they had all sorts of varieties but not Roma. I think I'll have to go without one this year.
I bought an Aquilegia canadensis for an alpine trough, and a Uvularia for a shady shrubby spot.
Had lunch in Wilko, and coffee and chocolate gateaux in Beth's cafe in the market, very nice.

The bus was early because it stopped for quite a few minutes in one village where nobody came on or went off so there was no hurry, but he went fast on most of the roads (there's a lot of open countryside) and going down that hill was a bit alarming.

Bella said thank you for the stroke :cat-kittyandsmiley:

Looking to get a small loan for some home improvements. I was a bit surprised that my credit card is only 1% more than a personal loan. Rarely use the card but will pay 1% more for the added payment flexibility and no faffing about applying for a loan. Strange that...

Yesterday I noticed one of my garden flood lights was full of water, and believe it or not, didn't work.
This is the second one in about 2 yrs just Chinese tat really, anyway i got a new one from screwfix.
They are sealed now so you can't put your own cable directly into them.
So off i went back to screwfix for a junction box.
                Nothing is simple these days.

                  Oops...

The Archbishop of Canterbury has been fined more than £500 and given three penalty points after he was caught speeding in London.

The Most Reverend Justin Welby was recorded driving at 25mph in a 20mph.

I hope he gets a good telling off when his time comes to enter through the Pearly Gates.

He should be setting a good example for his flock. I thought the fine was a bit harsh. The Welsh Parliament are going to make a ton of cash when the 20mph limit goes live throughout Wales in September. Nobody is driving at 20mph in the current 20mph zones.

Surely that is what it's about, making money. It will only make pollution worse and have minimal impact on safety.

It's been a lovely summer day here, warm sunshine and not a cloud in the sky ... but I have been feeling miserable :frown:
                        I don't know why,
and I thought if I wrote about it, it would be like confronting it and it would go away.

I tried going down the garden to do something this morning but I felt miserable and just sat on a wall and did nothing.
Then I decided to go out, just to get some milk and a few things, and I went for a coffee, but I didn't enjoy it and was glad to come home.

I'm sorry for being so boring, I'm usually quite cheerful.
I think I'll be glad to go to bed and finish with the day.
Maybe it's just that I'm getting old. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel like myself again.

We all get days like that Michael, I usually just can't be bothered to do anything in the garden some days.
