Aww Michael I'm so sorry to hear that you are suffering from a bout of the blues.

I think sometimes unknowingly little niggling things can build up in our minds and can cause us to feel a bit down and we find it hard to put our finger on what has actually triggered such emotions.

Play some soothing music or watch a film that you know you will enjoy.

Sometimes though we are helpless at shifting these feelings and we have to just let them run their course.
You're doing all the right things though, just keep doing them and it will suddenly dawn on you that you are beginning to enjoy doing them once more.

Do you like reading ? What about your crafting....doing any of these ,even for a short while, will help you 'fill' your day and bring you ever nearer to the moment you will begin to feel like you again.

Don't forget us here, we'll help you to pass some time too.

Look after yourself Michael. :grphg: xxxx

After a day of the blues yesterday, I decided to tidy my craft room (small bedroom) and then visited a friend a few villages away, taking her a picture of a wolf I drew, which she said she liked so I gave it to her. She lives on one of the mountain roads near here and hasn't been very well lately (problems with spinal cord)
Feeling more alive today now

Well, the Welsh Parliament did ask for feedback on the proposal. Everyone said no. I sent them a recent study from Northern Ireland which showed that 20mph speed limit makes no difference to accident rates. This study and everyones feedback received a good stiff ignoring. I also said that the millions to install speed signs could be used to support those in need. Ignored again they are going for it. Ninkompoops.

They have local, so called, trial traffic alterations and they ask for feed back here.
I'm yet to see one where they have not gone through with the intended road alteration that they have proposed regardless of opposition.
Its reached the point where when a new consultation is announced nobody bothers replying as we all know its going to happen anyway.
              Just another box ticking exercise.

Rest day tomorrow after a busy gardening weekend.
Meeting up with a couple of friends at lunchtime then we're off to the cinema to see Book Club ..The Next Chapter.
A silly light hearted comedy to escape the woes of the world for just a couple of hours.

Discovered I'm allergic to the beta blocker recently prescribed, had a lot of little lumps come up on the skin; first thought was that it was due to a plant as I'd had my shirt off the other weekend. Gradually got worse and itchier over the week antihistamines didn't have an effect, then lumps and bumps began to appear where no plants ever go and that clinched it.
Have stopped taking tablets and need to contact GP today, just hope it clears up soon.

The film was brilliantly funny. Its about the antics that 4 female friends get up to on their spontaneously arranged hen night break in Italy.
If that's what life is like in your 70's......I can't wait to reach there!

We how have 6 more films on our 'must see' list.:)

I was prescribed beta blockers once, for anxiety. I took one and felt as if my brain was going to explode. The rest went down the toilet.
                        Hope you're all right now.

15 to 20 percent below the current energy price guarantee. Good grief is this prices coming down ofgem...

The exact figure is yet to be finalised and will be disclosed next week, but ofgem assured viewers that it would significantly decrease from the current £2,500 limit for the average annual bill.

I heard that even so it will still be roughly twice what we were paying 18 months ago.
Lets not get roped in by the propaganda, we are being screwed big time by these criminals.

On my travels lately I have noticed most speed cameras have disappeared. Out of the 9 I pass quite regularly, only two are still there, and I don't know if those are actually working.
The one on the way into my local town has been 'out of use' for a long time and had a notice on it saying so, but now it has been removed, together with all the others.
They never bothered me because I drive slowly anyway.
