I find long grass on verges of some country roads can make it difficult to get out of some junctions, ok if you drive one of today's high up vehicle's but if you're a bit lower its not so good.
One of my bug bares about farmers is the diabolical machinery that they use to smash hedge rows to pieces, the things don't even start to cut anything, it's more a mashing process, and then half over them don't clean up the mess.

That's because the flail's cost £'s so farmers just put the angle grinder on them to sharpen them up a bit and get a much out of them had they can,
A new set comes with 2 sharp side to each flail so use 1 year then turn them then after 2nd year you can sharpen them and get the3rd & 4th year after that it's best to buy new one's because they never sharpen up the same as new and also the tractor has to work harder and cost more in fuel which they don't look at, and any way the new flail's will make a better job unless you hit metal gate post/gate's etc

I would record the barking then put it onto your sound system and play it back when they are at home and outside in they garden having a relaxing time, people don't like thing's done back to them or record it onto a CD and send it to them making sure that when you put it onto the CD the barking is as loud as it can be (most video editor will up the sound) so that when they play it back it's bang strait into full volume

@pete our bylaws usually have rules in them about people with barking dogs. They are worded to say if the constant barking ruins/reduces your ability to enjoy your own garden, the law breakers face fines. I hope you have something like that there.

With the warmer weather arriving, the dog won't be in harm's way but your enjoyment of your own property will still be compromised. It's really the same as someone blasting music all day long. I hope your council does have something like this.

It will if it's outside in the baking sun with no shade or water.

Rather than bothering me noise wise it bothers me more that the dog is so unhappy for hours each day, its not happening over the weekend, so I think its obviously them going to work and leaving it outside all day.
I think it was one of the dogs bought during the lockdowns and they never acclimatised it to being left.

I cant see any kennel or such place for it, but I think there is shade in the garden, as to water, again I dont know.
I'm being sneaky and looking through a knot hole in the fence, so my view is limited.

I find things like that distressing to me as well as the dog. Years ago our neighbour behind us had a dog chained in the yard and occasionally it would break loose and dash up the lane to our delight (and us egging it on) with the neighbour running screaming after it. Couldn't do anything about things then but now you can call the GNR (Police) who can.

Just been watching the repair shop on BBC, some very clever people.
But has anyone ever seen that Jay bloke repair anything, he has a very fancy apron and is always there to take the praise at the hand over.
But appears to actually do sod all.:dunno:

Jay is a very talented furniture restorer. He was an artisan in the first two seasons of "Money for Nothing" and then went on to present in the third season. Now he does sod all!

I get a fair amount of spam and deal with it quite quickly. It only takes a few seconds to report them to the government website, block their email or domain and delete them. I'm quite happy to do that and find very few of them need much thought in deciding whether they are spam or not.

This morning's one was from 'TV Licensing' saying they were having trouble with the automatic renewing of the licence. It came from a Tokyo domain! :heehee:

The other week I was getting a lot of emails from attractive young females (supposedly ) saying they loved my social media profile and would be interested in meeting me. I don't do social media! :roflol:
