To weed or not to weed❓

Hi all. Google lens not very helpful today. Found these in a pot are they weeds? TIA

 

What's supposed to be in the pot?
Answer nothing; then it's a weed.

 

Good question NigelJ.....I have no idea what was in there last year its a mystery as is a lot of stuff in my garden

I have several pots like that most years. often turn out to have been young plants, kept as spares, that didn't come through the winter and yes it's often a willowherb in there instead.
