The eu are messing about again. Arguing whethrr to invite uk and us companies to make shells for Ukraine, getting tangled up in red tape while Ukrainian soldiers need the shells urgently. At least the uk can move quickly and get arms to Ukraine.

You can only give what you have...
After the collapse of the Sowjet Union, lots of countries decided to reduce their Arsenal and the amount of ammunition they keep in storage. So in order to supply Ukraine and the extremely wide range of different systems, calibres and tech level used there, production needs to be tailored to the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces. And you can't just switch an ammo production facility to another system by flicking a switch.
Besides that, companies producing ammo won't do that because of the goodness of their heart. They want to get paid, so their employees get paid.

I love your optimism and positive outlook, but economically, the UK is currently doing worse than the EU, and has the highest inflation and the highest national debt per capita of any developed nation.

I heard Sweden had higher inflation than the UK don't know if that's the case now .

Surprising the UK hasn't fallen into recession yet seen as the Bank of England is more a less engineering one with the rate raises , bit of a blunt tool in my opinion.

I've stopped taking any notice of statistics, everyone seems to manufacture their own.:roflol:

That's the beauty of statistics. You can use them to paint any picture you want.

That said though, to be fair, statistics are good and reliable if used properly.

I've never worked out how all the political parties seem to have a totally different set, until they all have to use the same ones I think its best to ignore all statistics.
