I've just finished making croutons to go with the chicken Caesar salad I started earlier.

        Oh, love that. Enjoy.
Can make in advance and freeze. Great summer lunch/dinner. You could have Lori's salad on the side. ;)

            Looks gorgeous.

Our tea this evening will be shepherds pie, using yesterday's mash from my lamb kidney disaster.

I'm thinking of putting a slightly Mediterranean spin on it by making a tomato, garlic and herb based sauce instead of gravy, and maybe add some olives and peppers and a load of herbs.

Had a couple of KFC Tenders for lunch, left over from getting it yesterday for dinner. It is like a popcorn light coating, yummy. Also have a delicious Fuji apple and a Golden Grahams rice bar with tea.

Dessert. Greek style natural yoghurt with porridge oats and red, black and white currants straight from the garden all whizzed together, topped with pumpkin seeds and a chopped Brazil nut.

You seem to really go for the Mediterranean themed food

That's something I'm trying to get into. I'm making good progress in general but as yet have failed every attempt to make couscous taste nice. I know it can taste nice because I've had it in restaurants, but I can't seem to master it.
