Well we had about three minutes of rain and now the clouds gone and the suns out, barely damped down the dust, sunshine fore cast for the next 10 days now, shouldn't moan, some summers we don't see 10 days of sun in three months lol.

Heard the thunder rumbling around in the distance but no rain here. Been hot 30c and muggy with cloud cover most of the day.

Nowt......rain that is ,we did hear the rumble of thunder in the distance. We still have a couple of hours left with it predicated on our forecast but looking outside it looks very unlikely that we'll get any rain. Boo hoo!!!!
It shows blobs of rain in our area on the animated run through...but they must be very localised and are just missing us out.

No rain here. The day was very hot just like yesterday but, as forecast, the cloud developed during the afternoon & eventually blotted out the sun by 6pm. Tomorrow the day will also be very warm with temps again in the high 20sC. Like today there will be more clouds around. There is a remote (+/- 40%) possibility of thunderstorms from 12 - 2pm tomorrow. I only mention it because for some strange reason when we are forecast some kind of weather with a fairly low possibility it often happens - just the opposite with high possibilities (+/- 90%) when they often don't happen! Weird! [IMG]

Our first rain in two months around midnight last night. It was heavy but only lasted about an hour. Sunny until late afternoon when we had a thunderstorm with torrential rain, again only lasting an hour or so. The gutters couldn't cope as it poured off the roof, although the garden welcomed it. It's now humid and misty. 24C/75F

Good morning all The night was another warm and sticky one, just like the night before. At the moment the day is starting out with clear skies and it's lovely to see them, especially after some weeks of continuous cloud cover & cold winds. Cloud is expected to roll in from about mid-morning then it will be sunny intervals the rest of the day. Temps again high with around 27C predicted. No rain and certainly no thunderstorms though we are in a yellow warning zone.

Cloudy with light winds from the east north east temp 19c feels like 22c.
We had a lot of rain overnight, haven't checked if it's gone far into the ground yet.

You're lucky @Logan. All that time spent sowing seeds and nurturing seedlings only to now watch as they struggle to grow in the borders is heartbeaking.

Hazy sun, calm, 18c going to 27c ... with a "stray" thunderstorm. It will have to be very stray as there is nothing on the radar anywhere near us. No rain on the cards for the rest of the month ... or Summer!
