Growing tomatoes for first time!

    I agree 3rd photo looks as it should.
    The other plant may well put out another side shoot that you can grow on as a main stem.
    You may get earlier ripe fruit on that plant but it could be slow getting another flower truss.

      I have to add I am not casting blame on the little boy, he is inquisitive and if all the sign are correct will soon be growing his own plants himself. It's my first attempt so we as learning together -2 ends of a spectrum young and old.
      And there is also a little doubt in my mind that I might be the sole culprit :love30:

        Thank you Pete, If a side shoot appears then my mains stem will look a little skew-whiff but kind of attractive :)
