Whats Your Weather Like June 2023

Not been outside yet, I've been crawling around under the floor boards(don't ask!) it's actually cooler down there with a gentle breeze through the air bricks lol.

 

I have never found anything more boring than sitting on a beach, not something I have done since I was a child, to pay for the privilege would only be rubbing it in for me.
I don't settle in one place for long, if I can help it.
Even worse are people who sit round a swimming pool, that would have me tearing my hair out.
Here we go, my entry into the grumpy old git of the year award. The sun was in my eyes

 

But @burnie now you've mentioned......I just have.....why??

 

Same here too pete....not my entry for the G O G award ,although some might say that's up for debate , but for not being able to settle for long and definitely not on a beach or poolside....a summer nightmare in the making!!

Agree. Same here with both of us. However, we can somehow manage sitting at a beach bar people watching!

 

Oooh yes Vicky that's definitely my cup of tea....ok yes...definitely my glass of something stronger!!

 

No sun block!!!! Tut, tut,...

 

Never used it myself.

Yeah, I could manage a bar for a couple of hours.

 

Melanoma skin cancer


Sorry to go on about this but a cousin of mine died from this in her 40s . I was scared when I was diagnosed with the same type in my early 40s too. 2 lots of surgery and 10 years of follow up appointments later all is good..
Even now every ache I have in that leg, knee and hip they always run scans first to eliminate cancer , melanoma is a notorious spreader !!

In my mind there is no room for complacency...

No sun block in the shade for either of us but J wears sun glasses and a cowboy hat always, sun or shade.
