Ask them if they can give you their email and send it to that. It's up to them what they do with it afterwards.

You could, if your video isn't terribly private, upload it to a hosting site (e.g. veed.io), and send them a link to it.

          Couple of points -
You can send an email to a phone number, though it depends on whos providing the email service.
This link shows how to do it with the big providers.
          E-mail to a moblie number

The problems you may get is that video files are often too big to attach to an email, how big is yours, eg right click on your video file and the select Properties to show its size. Think 25mb is the largest you can send with Gmail.

For larger video files you need to use one of the free File Sharing services like DropBox etc where you upload your Video to it and you are given a Link for it which you can then Email to your friend to download and view on their pc or phone.

The size for our e-mail is only 10mb's
They wouldn't give me their e-mail address so i'm now going to play hard and just send pictures (in the post) in stead or i may forget to  i hate it when people mess about

Sounds a bit fishy if you have their telephone number but will not give you an email address ?!

Is sending the video to your or their advantage ? worth bothering with ?

In some ways would agree with you, smart phones, modern apps and social media can be a minefield for even the experienced user.

However would still suggest you get a smart phone, nothing expensive, plenty of decent ones below £100, but they can be so useful in many ways, like Hospital, GP , Dentist and NHS Covid appointments and reminders etc. plus can be a real lifeline if you breakdown in the car.

@ricky101, all of that is the very reason I rarely turn my phone on and I don't give anyone, apart from family and friends my mobile number now. I got fed up with being pestered by people sending constant reminders about this or that appointment. I don't want or need a smart phone and am happy with the old style phone I have. It's turned on once a week when I shop, for personal reasons and emergencies only. Anyone else that wants to contact me can use the landline number, or email which I also limit.

@Jiffy stick with it if you don't want a smart phone.
